Q: Are tables and chairs included in my rental?
A: Yes! We have farm tables and Chiavari chairs that are available for all events.
Q: For weddings, is there space to do a ceremony?
A: There is space to do a ceremony both inside the hall and outside if you choose. We always recommend you plan for the weather if you want to do an outside ceremony.
Q: Is there space to store items while we are there?
A: You can have some space in our “catering prep/ kitchenette area.” However, this space is not for guests to gather.
Q: For a wedding, is there a place to get ready?
A: We do not have a “bridal suite.” You should plan accordingly.
Q: What are your rates?
A: Our rates can be found on our rates page. You will see our venue is very affordable compared to other venues for what we offer.
Q: How does it work for the bar and beverages?
A: We have three beverage options. Explore our beverage page to choose what is best for your event.
Q: Can we BYOB?
A: Technically you are purchasing your adult beverages from the store directly for our “Hosted Bar Services.” (not from us). But there is a strict no consumption of alcohol without a bar service contract. Refer to our beverage page for more details
Q: What about guests who smoke/vape?
A: There is a strict no smoking/ no vaping policy in and around the hall and decks. Smoking is fine in the parking area. We ask that your guests do not throw their butts on the ground.
Q: How does food work? Can we bring our own food?
A: You cannot bring any outside food into the hall. We are operated by a catering company (Twelve 31), and all food is done through them. You can bring a cake into the hall, but we recommend that it is prepared by a commercial baker who possesses a NH food license.
Q: What sort of food menus do you have?
A: You will find a link over to the catering website via the “Food” tab of this website. Check it out. There is something for all styles and budgets and most dietary preferences can be accommodated.
Q: Where is parking?
A: There is plenty of parking around the property. There are also Town of Tilton municipal parking lots within a very short walk if your event needed it.
Q: Does the hall have air conditioning?
A: Our building was constructed in the late 1800’s. There is no air conditioning. But this does not stop summer events. Our side doors open to the side deck that leads out to the trains (really giving you the Railroad Station authentic feel). Having an event here in the summer months would be no different than having an outdoor event under a tent somewhere.
Q: Does the hall have heat?
A: Yes, we have heat. We host plenty of colder weather and winter events.
Q: Do you have wifi?
A: Yes, we do.
Q: Is there space for a band or DJ to set up?
A: Yes, there is.
Q: Is there space for dancing?
A: Yes, there is.
Q: What if we do not have a DJ, is there any sort of sound system we can use?
A: Yes, we have a large Bluetooth speaker that you can use for a playlist. There is also a microphone available.
Q: Is the station wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, one of our entryways is a ramp.
